Assign Class Section & Class Teacher

This function allows the users to assign students to their respective class teacher and class section.

Assign Class Section to Student

Roles Involved: School Student Registrar

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Records and Enrollment > Career and Program Information > Student Program/Plan.

2. User will be directed to Student Program/Plan search page.

3. Search for a particular student by entering the Birth Certificate ID, National ID, or ID (EMPLID).

4. Click on the Search button.

5. User will be directed to Student Program/Plan page.

6. Click on the “+” button to add new record.

7. A new record will appear.

8. Click on the look-up button to view the list of Program Action.

9. Select DATA (Data Change) from the list of Program Action.

10. Click on the Student Details tab.

11. Enter the Class Section which the student is assigned to.

12. Click on the Save button.

Assign Class Teacher to Student

Roles Involved: School Student Registrar

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Records and Enrollment > Student Background Information > Student Advisor

2. User will be directed to the Student Advisor page.

3. Search for a particular student by entering the Birth Certificate ID, National ID, or ID (EMPLID).

4. Click on the Search button.

5. User will be directed to Student Advisor page.

Note:
If there is already a record and student need to be assigned to a new advisor:

• Click on “+” button on the outer box. The “+” button is use if student change class or transfer school. This is because there will be a new advisor that will be assigned to the student.
• Enter the Effective Date as of when the student is given a new advisor.
• Follow steps #7 - #18

6. Enter the Effective Date as of first day of the term.

7. Click the dropdown list to view the list of Advisor Role.

8. Select the Class Teacher to assign a class teacher to the student.

9. Click on the look-up button and select the class teacher’s Academic Career.

10. Click on the look-up button and select the class teacher’s Academic Program.

11. Click on the look-up button and select the class teacher’s Academic Plan.

12. Click on the Academic Advisor look-up button to search for teacher.

13. User will be directed to the Advisor Search page.

14. Search for the Class Teacher by using the National ID.

15. Click on the Lookup button to search for the Academic Advisor (e.g. Class Teacher).

16. Click on the Select button to select the Academic Advisor.

17. User will be directed back to the Student Advisor page.

Note:
If student have more than one advisor:

• Click on Correct History button.
• Click on “+” button on the inner box.
• Follow steps #7 - #18.

18. Click on the Save button.
