Update Application Status
"This function allows the users to provide details of a upload process in iNEIS that updates the scholarship application status.
This upload process is useful for updating the scholarship application status in batches."
Roles Involved: MOE Scholarship Section - Verifier and Administrator
Create CSV File
Open a new Excel sheet.
Create the upload file according to the rules in the Note below.

Note: User should include the Headers first on the 1st Row of the upload file before entering the data. 1st Column: Student ID, 2nd Column: Application ID, 3rd Column: IC Number and 4th Column: New Status. Follow the column number when creating the upload file. For New Status column, enter the values (e.g. 'A','R')
New Status column:

Note: Any changes after it has been saved should be done using Notepad only.
Update Application Status
Navigate to Main Menu > Student Financials > Scholarships and Bursaries > Update Application Status.
In the Add a New Value tab, enter any value (e.g. 1000) in the Run Control ID field.
You will be directed to the Update Application Status page.
In the Parameters grid, enter 'MOE01' in the Academic Institution field.
In the Process Scheduler Request page, select the Update Application Status checkbox and click on the OK button and you will be directed back to the Update Application Status page.
Take note of the Process Instance number then click on the Process Monitor link.
Click on the Refresh button until the Run Status and Distribution Status are set to Success and Posted accordingly.
Click on the Details link and it will direct you to Process Details page.
Click on the View Log/Trace link to go to the View Log/Trace page.
Verify the information in the summary log. Any errors encountered during the process will be mentioned in the log file. Correct the errors and create a new upload file for all rows that has errors.
Note: Click on the Browse button to search for the file. Select the file and click on the Open button. Then Upload the file. The File Name field should then be populated with the name of the CSV file uploaded.
Note: To verify that the application status has been updated, go to the Scholarship Application page and enter the Student ID in the Find an Existing Value tab.
Manually Changing Application Status
Navigate to Main Menu > Student Financials > Scholarships and Bursaries > Scholarship Application Form.
In the Find an Existing Value tab, enter the values in the Academic Institution and Student ID fields.
Click on the Search button to search for existing Scholarship Applicant.
Click on the Application Status drop-down menu and select the required value.
