Sync Attendance Records
This function allows the users to Sync Attendance Records for Transfer/Withdrawal/Deferment/Late Admission students.
Roles Involved: School Student Registrar (MOE_SCHL_ADMIN_ATTDNCE)
Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Attendance Roster > Process > Sync Attendance Records.
To run the process to sync the attendance records, click on the Add a New Value tab.
Click on Save button to save the process parameters entered.
User will be directed to the Process Scheduler Request page.
Select the combined process of ‘Sync Attendance Records’ and ‘Sync Att. Rec with Enrollment’ from the process list.
- Sync Attendance Records is the process which is run to Sync the attendance records. It will ensure the attendance records are updated with the latest information.
- Sync Attend Rec with Enrollment is run to Sync the student list in the attendance roster to indicate the changes to class registration.
- Sync Att. Rec & Enrl Data is a combination of the above two processes.

Once the process has begun to run, a Process Instance number will be assigned.
Click on Process Monitor link to check the status of the process run.
Monitor the process against the Process Instance number and initially the Run Status and Distribution Status are ‘Queued’ and ‘N/A’.
Click on Refresh button to view the refreshed Run Status. Continue to click the Refresh button until the Run Status changes to ‘Success’ and Distribution Status goes to ‘Posted’.
Once Run Status changes to ‘Success’ and Distribution Status goes to ‘Posted’, click on the Process Name to see the results.
The log file containing the information of the class(es) synced will be displayed in a new tab.
Scroll down the log file to review the information of the process run.
Return back to the previous tab and click on Return button to go back to the process page.
Click on OK in the Process Details page to return back to the Process Monitor.
Repeat the steps 20 to 27 can be repeated to view the process log of the second process.
Note:
Run Control ID is a unique ID assigned to identify the data entered to run the process to sync the attendance records. The ID cannot contain any spaces, hyphens ‘-‘ and underscores ‘_’ between words.
Note:
For Pre-School and Primary School, select among Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4 values. For other Careers, select Regular Academic Session.
Note:
Select the Subject from the description available in the look up. To sync for Class Attendance Roster, the Subject Area to select is ‘Year’ and to sync for Subject Attendance Roster, the Subject Area to select is the specific subject, e.g. BML (Bahasa Melayu).
Note:
If the user wants to Sync the Attendance Records for the entire school for the selected Term, only the mandatory fields (fields marked with a ‘*’) need to be populated.
If the user wants to run for a specific class, key in the Subject and Class Section fields as well.
Note:
Run button is to run the process based on the ‘process parameters’ entered to sync the attendance records.
Note:The two processes needs to be consecutively run in the following order and should not be run together at the same time.
