Setup Mark Entry Cut-off Date and Security
This function allows the users to run the process to give Subject Teachers security to enter studetns' marks and setup the deadline for Subject Teachers to finish entering students' marks.
Setup Mark Entry Cut-off Date
Roles Involved: School Examination Secretary & Sixth Form School Examination Secretary
Navigate to Main menu > Academic Staff > Assessment and Exams > Setup > Mark Entry Cut-off Date Setup.
Select Academic Institution, Academic Career, Term, Academic Oraganization and Session via prompt buttons and drop down list.
Click on the Save button.
Modify Mark Entry Cut-off Date
Roles Involved: School Examination Secretary & Sixth Form School Examination Secretary
Navigate to Main menu > Academic Staff > Assessment and Exams > Setup > Mark Entry Cut-off Date.
Fill in the details to narrow down the search results.
Click on the '+' button to add and '-' button to remove the Teacher's ID from mark entry cutoff date.
- User should only add Teacher's ID if the subject teacher needs to modify the marks after the cut-off date.
- User must make sure the teacher have access to the Subject Mark Entry Page. Refer to Modify Mark Entry Security Access instructions below.
Click on the Save button.
Note:
User should only modify the date to extend access to all teachers. If the user only wants to allow access for a specific teachers, go to step 6.

Run Mark Entry Security Process
Roles Involved: School Examination Secretary & Sixth Form School Examination Secretary
Navigate to Main menu > Academic Staff > Assessment and Exams > Setup > Mark Entry Security Process.
Enter meaningful name for the Run Control ID field.
Fill the Institution, Career, Term and Organization via prompt button.
Take note of the Process Instance number and click on the Process Monitor and check the process status.
Click Refresh button, check that the run status changed into success and distribution status is posted.

The ID CANNOT have any spaces, dash '-' and Underscore '_' can be used between words.
Note:
Fields with (*) indicates that they are required. User will not be able to save the page if any one of them is blank.
Modify Mark Entry Security Access
Roles Involved: School Examination Secretary & Sixth Form School Examination Secretary
Navigate to Main menu > Academic Staff > Assessment and Exams > Mark Entry Security Access
Enter Academic Institution and Academic Organization to narrow down the search results.
Click on the Save button.

This step allows users to provide security access to another teacher to enter marks for the specific subject, term and class section.
