Using the Forum
The forum is designed for allowing the users to create their own discussion and help topics that are not covered in the User Manual or FAQ. Users can log in and create replies to the topics created. This guide is used to describe how the forum works.
The forum can be accessed by clicking here. Please note that you will need to have an iNEIS™ portal account in order to post to the online forum. To create an iNEIS™ portal account, please click here.
The forum allows you to:
- Submit a new discussion topic.
- Edit your own discussion topic.
- Submit a reply to a discussion topic.
- Subscribe to a discussion topic.
- Insert images and screenshots to your topic.
- Uploading an attachment.
Adding a Discussion Topic
To create a discussion topic:
Enter a Subject title in the form.
Enter a message in the Message textarea. The toolbar in the Message textarea allows you to format your topic content.
Select the form of subscription you want. Click here to know more on detail on subscribing to a topic.
Add an attachment to the topic if necessary by dragging a file to the attachment area or by clicking on the Add icon. Click here to know more on detail on how to add an attachment.
Click on the Post to forum button to post the topic.
The Subject area and Message area are required fields. They must be entered in order to submit a new topic to the forum.
Replying to a Topic
Enter a message in the Message textarea. The toolbar in the Message textarea allows you to format your topic content.
Select the form of subscription you want. Click here to know more on detail on subscribing to a topic.
Add an attachment to the reply if necessary by dragging a file to the attachment area or by clicking on the Add icon. Click here to know more on detail on how to add an attachment. Click here to know more on detail on how to add an attachment.
Click on the Post to forum button to post the topic.
The Subject area and Message area are required fields. They must be entered in order to submit a new topic to the forum.
Subscribing to a Topic
There are two options: 'Send me email copies of posts to this forum' and 'I don't want email copies of posts to this forum'. The defaulted option is 'Send me email copies of posts to this forum'.
- 'Send me email copies of posts to this forum': Any replies to this topic will be sent to your e-mail account.
- 'I don't want email copies of posts to this forum': You will not receive any replies to this topic to your e-mail account.
If you are subscribed to a forum it means you will receive email copies of forum posts. Usually you can choose whether you wish to be subscribed, though sometimes subscription is forced so that everyone receives email copies of forum posts.

You can optionally attach one or more files to a forum post. If you attach an image, it will be displayed after the message. To add an attachment:
Click on the attachment area or the Add icon and you can also drag a file to the attachment area.
The File Picker window will appear. On the navigation panel to the left, click on the Upload a File button.
In the Upload a file section, click on the Browse button to upload an attachment.
Select the file you want to upload and click Open.
Edit the Author field if needed.
