Run the Attendance Statistics Calculation Process
This function allows the users to run the Attendance Statistics Calculation Process manually whenever required. Otherwise the Attendance Statistics Calculation Process is scheduled to be automatically run on an weekly basis.
Roles Involved: School Student Registrar (MOE_SCHL_ADMIN_ATTDNCE)
Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Attendance Roster > Process > Attendance Stats Calculation.
To run the Attendance Statistics Calculation process, click on the Add a New Value tab.
User will be directed to the Attendance Stats Calculation page.
If the School Admin – Attendance wants to run the process for the entire school, the Select by Career/Term check box should be unchecked. The entire text box will be disabled, except for the Institution.
If the School Admin – Attendance wants to run the process for a particular class, the Select by Career/Term checkbox should be checked.
Click on the Career lookup icon to select the Academic Career of the school. If there are multiple Academic Careers in the same school, run one at a time.
Click on the Term lookup icon to select the Term for which the attendance statistics are calculated for.
Click on the Class Section lookup icon to select the Class Section.
Click on the Save Button to save the process parameters entered.
User will be directed to the Process Scheduler Request page.
Select the Attendance Stats Calculation from the process list.
Click on the OK button to proceed with the process run.
Click on the Cancel button to return back to the process parameter page. Click on OK button.Once the process has begun to run, a Process Instance number will be assigned.
Click on the Process Monitor to check the status of the process.
Monitor the process against the Process Instance number and initially the Run Status and Distribution Status are ‘Queued’ and ‘N/A’’.
Click on Refresh button to view the refreshed Run Status. Continue to click the Refresh button until the Run Status changes to ‘Success’ and Distribution Status goes to ‘Posted’.
Once Run Status changes to ‘Success’ and Distribution Status goes to ‘Posted’, click the Go back to Attendance Stats Calculation link.
To verify the attendance statistics calculation, the School Admin – Attendance can navigate to the View Attendance Stats by Registrar page.
Note:
Run Control ID is a unique ID assigned to identify the data entered to run the process to calculate attendance statistics. The ID cannot contain any spaces, hyphens ‘-‘and underscores ‘_’ between words.
Note:
For Pre-School and Primary School, select among Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4 values. For other Careers, select Regular Academic Session.
Note:
To run the Attendance Statistics Calculation for a school, enter the values only until step 10.
Note:
Select the Subject from the description available in the look up. To sync for Class Attendance Roster, the Subject Area to select is ‘Year’. Attendance Statistics are calculated only for the Class Attendance Roster.
