Change Class Timetable
This function allows the users to change the class timetable. (Update/Add/Delete).
Add a Class Section and Class Schedule
Role Involved: School Timetabling Admin
Navigate to Main menu > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Schedule New Course.
In the Find an Existing Value tab, enter the values in the Term, Subject Area, Catalog nbr and Campus fields.
Click on the Search button to obtain the result based on the values you entered.
You will be directed to the Basic Data page.
To specify relevant class meeting information, enter the values in Facility ID, Mtg Start, Mtg End, the days of week by checking the tick box and the Term Start and End date.
In the Instructors for Meeting Pattern section, click on the lookup button to select relevant instructor.
- Class Teacher – teacher who is handling morning registration class.
- Prim Instructor - school registrar and school HEP teachers.
- Subject Teacher – handle attendance particular for the specified subject only.
If there are more Class Sections to add, click on the ‘+’ button and repeat steps.
Note: Class Section should not be longer than 4 characters and must be in capital letters.

Delete a Class Section
Role Involved: School Timetabling Admin
Important Note: Class Section can ONLY be deleted if no students have been enrolled to the class before. If students have been enrolled to the class already and dropped, please refer to Cancel a Class Section section for instructions on how to cancel the class instead.
Navigate to Main menu > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes.
In the Find an Existing Value tab, enter the values in the Term, Subject Area, Catalog nbr and Campus fields.
Click on the Search button to obtain the result based on the values you entered.
Note: The Class will not be deleted if there are students already enrolled into the class. Please refer to the following link: Manage Student Admission > Register Applicants > Enroll/Drop Student To/From Class Individually > Drop Student from Class to drop the students first, then cancel the class after.
Cancel a Class Section
Role Involved: School Timetabling Admin
Important Note: Class Section can ONLY be cancelled if the class has already been enrolled students before. If no students have been enrolled to the class before, please refer to Delete a Class Section section for instructions on how to delete the class instead.
Navigate to Main menu > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes.
In the Find an Existing Value tab, enter the values in the Term, Subject Area, Catalog nbr and Campus fields.
Click on the Search button to obtain the result based on the values you entered.
Click on the Class Status dropdown list and select Cancelled Section.
Update Class Schedule
Role Involved: School Timetabling Admin
Navigate to Main menu > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes
In the Find an Existing Value tab, enter the values in the Term, Subject Area and Campus fields.
Click on the Search button to obtain the result based on the values you entered.
You will be directed to the Basic Data page.
In the Class sections, look for the desired class section by clicking the ‘>’ button.
In the Meetings Pattern section, you can update the meeting pattern by changing the Facility ID, Mtg Start, Mtg End, the days of week by checking the tick box and the Start/End date.
In the Instructors for Meeting Pattern section, click on the lookup button to look for the instructor you wish to change.
Note:
You can also add another instructor by clicking the ‘+’ button or remove the instructor by clicking the ‘- ‘ button.
Delete Class Schedule
Role Involved: School Timetabling Admin
Navigate to Main menu > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes
In the Find an Existing Value tab, enter the values in the Term, Campus and Course ID fields.
In the Meetings Pattern section, click the '-' button to delete a new class meeting.
A delete confirmation message will pop out. Click on the OK button.
Change Class Enrolment Capacity
Role Involved: School Timetabling Admin
Navigate to Main menu > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes.
In the Find an Existing Value tab, enter the values in the Term, Subject Area, Catalog nbr and Campus fields.
Click on the Search button to obtain the result based on the values you entered.
Modify the Requested Room Capacity to change the number of students who can be enrolled in the class. By default, it is set as 30.
