Configure SPE Subjects

This function allows the user to maintain the Course Equivalencies for Year 7 and Year 8 Subjects.

Roles Involved: Ministry of Education DS Manage Assessment Admin

• Add the Course Equivalencies
• Setup Course Catalog

Add the Course Equivalencies

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Course Catalog > Course Equivalencies

2. Click the Add a New Value Tab

3. Click Add button.

4. User will be directed to the Course Equivalencies Page.

5. Enter the Description.

6. Enter the Short Description.

7. Click on the Save button.

Note:

• Once user click save, the Equivalent Course Group will be auto-generated.
• Sports School uses a different Equivalent Course Group.

Setup Course Catalog

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Course Catalog > Course Catalog

2. Enter the Academic Institution, Campus and Course ID for Year 7 subject.

3. Click Search button.

Note:
User must make sure to select the correct Course ID.

4. User will be directed to the Course Catalog Page.

5. Click on the Catalog Data tab.

6. In the Additional Course Information Section, Select the Equivalent Course Group via prompt button.

7. In the Course Attributes Section, Select ‘SPA’ for the Course Attribute and Course Attribute Values via prompt button.

8. Click on the Save button.

Note:
Repeat steps 1 -7 the steps for Year 8 Subjects.
