Manage Attendance Roster for Other Activities

This function allows the users to manage Attendance Rosters for Other Activities.

Roles Involved: School Student Registrar, Class Teacher and Subject Teacher (MOE_SCHL_ADMIN_ATTDNCE), (MOE_SCHL_CLASS_TEACHER) and (MOE_SCHL_SUBJECT_TEACHER)

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Curriculum Management > Attendance Roster > Att. Rstr for Other Activities.

2. To search for the Class, click on the Find an Existing Value tab.

3. Click on the lookup icon to search for the Term the other activity is being conducted.

4. Click on the lookup icon to search for the Subject Area.

Note:
If the other activity is making use of the registration class, the Subject Area to select is ‘Year’ and if the other activity is related to a subject, the Subject Area to select is the specific subject, e.g. BML (Bahasa Melayu).

5. Click on the lookup icon to search for the Campus.

6. Click on the Session dropdown list.

Note:
For Pre-School and Primary School, select among Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4 values. For other Careers, select Regular Academic Session.

7. Enter the Class Section of the class.

8. Click on the Search button.

9. User will be directed to the Attendance Roster for Other Activities Page.

10. Click on the Activity Type dropdown list to select the other activity.

Note:
If the other activity organized is for any group of students from school, then a new class needs to be scheduled and the person/teacher in-charge should be assigned as the ‘Primary Instructor’.

If the other activity is conducted for a specific group of students who are already in a class together and the Class Teacher is assigned as the instructor, then the existing class section details can be used here.

11. Click on the calendar icon to select the *Activity Date to select the date this other activity is taking place.

12. Enter the *Activity Start Time and *Activity End Time.

13. Enter any notes or comments into the Remarks field.

14. Click on Fetch Students to select the students who are registered in the class. This option will only fetch students if an existing class is used as there will be students already registered in the class. If a new class was schedule just for this other activity then the students who attended need to be entered one-by-one into the list.

15. Click on View All link to view all the students who are registered in the class.

16. To add more students to the list of attendees, click on the ‘+’ icon.
    To remove students from the list of attendees, click on the ‘-‘ icon.

17. Click on the lookup icon to search the Student ID.

18. Click on Save button.

19. To add another new activity, click on the ‘+’ icon in the Activity Details section.
