Level Code Setup
This function allows the users to store information of the various level codes. These level codes determine the level of scholarship the applicant is applying for, e.g. degree, A levels, PhD. Each level code will store the short listing criteria and the approval rules.
Create the Level Code Setup
This function will be used to create the setup for the Level Code as well as the criteria for each level.
Roles Involved: MOE Scholarship Section - Statistician, Finance Officer and Administrator.

Navigate to Main Menu > Set Up SACR > Product Related > Student Financials > Scholarship and Bursaries > Level Code Setup.

Enter any values in the Academic Institution and Level Code fields.

Next click on the Add button to continue.

You will be directed to the Level Code Setup page. In the Setup tab, enter the values in the Effective Date, Status and Description fields. Enter any required criteria in the Nationalitty, Age From and Age to, Min English Grade, Min Malay Grade, Min UCAS Points and Min GPA fields.
Effective Date: field that record the effective date of this Level Code Setup
Status: field that record the active of this level code setup.
Description: field that to record the description of the scholarship code
Nationality: Fill in if “All Nationality” is unchecked. This field records the type of nationality allowed
Age From: Fill in if Any Age is unchecked. This records the age from, this has to be smaller than the Age to field.
Age To: Fill in if Any Age is unchecked. This records the age to, this value has to be bigger than Age From.
Min English Grade: Fill in if Any English grade is unchecked. This records the Grade of English Language of ‘O’ level Exam.
Min Malay Grade: Fill in if Any Malay grade is unchecked. This records the Grade of Malay Language of ‘O’ level Exam.
Min UCAS Point: Fill in if Any UCAS Points is unchecked. This records the minimum UCAS points.
Min GPA: Fill in if Any GPA is unchecked. This records the minimum GPA.
Optional step: Next on the Approval Rules tab, enter the values in the Effective Date and Status fields. Also enter the Level Roles who will approve the applications and disbursements.
Note: Ensure that the new Level Code added does not exist in the System.
Note: If the Status field is set to Inactive then in the Scholarship Application page, this level code will not be available for selection. If the status is set to Active then it is valid for selection.
Note: Approval rules define who will be required to approve the application or the disbursement request once it has been submitted as well as the number of levels of approvals. Make sure the role name is entered and the checkbox next to it is checked. Anyone who is assigned to that role will be the approver.
Search for Existing Level Code Setup
If a user want to Search or Edit any of the existing values, go back to the Find an Existing Value tab in the Level Code Setup page.

In the Find an Existing Value tab, click in the External Org ID field and enter the values of the Level Code or just click on 'Enter' button to view all existing level codes in the System.

Click the Correct History checkbox. This is to enable the editing existing records.
Lastly, click the Search button next to Search or Edit any of the existing data.
